Case/Management Support Officer

Full Time Post

£20,457 per annum 

We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic person to join our Community Health Team.  This is a great opportunity for a team player with exceptional organisational skills to work across a variety of disciplines making a real difference to protecting public safety and improving the wellbeing of the residents of Mendip.  

The post will involve frequent contact with customers and colleagues so you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  You will be working with Mendip District Councils own ‘Grime Fighters’ providing support for environmental health and licensing officers but more essentially you will be the first contact for customers with a variety of interesting and challenging problems.  You will need to be empathetic and supportive but also firm when required. A good sense of humour will be an advantage.  You will record and manage customer enquiries accurately and seek to resolve and identify satisfactory solutions.        

You must:

·         Have customer experience

·         Have excellent interpersonal skills

·         Have excellent organisational skills

·         Be a confident team player with a sense of humour

·         Be able to work with minimum supervision
