Hart District Council are looking for two motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Committee Services Team as Committee and Member Services Officers.

About the role:

Reporting to the Committee Services Manager, you will play a significant role in committee administration for the Council, dealing with elected members and senior officers, delivering executive support in preparing agenda and reports.

Your work will be crucial in helping the democratic process to run smoothly and efficiently. As well as meeting the Leadership Team expectations and timescales, you will play a key role in preparing and taking minutes whilst attending meetings, providing administrative support to the scrutiny process and assisting with special projects. You will also be expected to attend some evening meetings as part of your job role.

A high degree of organisational skills

Proactive, adaptable and flexible with the ability to work independently, using your initiative

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Excellent IT skills covering full MS Office Suite

Ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with others to achieve results

The other is for a fixed term until December 2020 and is part time at 22.5 hours per week.
