Description
*Pro Rata is the proportion of full time salary quoted if working Term time/Part Time.
An 8% allowance is paid if staff regularly work 2 or more weekend days out of every 4 weeks.
20 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 20hr/part-time Community Coach to join the Actif Communities Team. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills (with adults and children), is enthusiastic and passionate, is able to work as part of a busy team and who wants to make a positive difference through sport and physical activity. The main purpose of the role is to organise and deliver a variety of inclusive sport and physical activity sessions to pre-school, primary and secondary school aged children in community settings across the whole of the county and to engage with parents/guardians to continue to be active in the home.
You must have:
• AT LEAST 1 one recognised qualification in sport or physical activity coaching
• The ability to communicate and engage with people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds
• Experience in delivering engaging sessions across the sporting pathway.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills
• Due to the demands of the role, you will need to have a full UK driving license or ability to travel to various locations across Carmarthenshire.
