Description
The successful candidate will work as part of the Planning, Performance and Commissioning Team with a focus on commissioning activity locally, within Children's Services and across the Region.
The post holder will support the Children’s Services Management Team with strategic planning, policy and service development, commissioning, procurement, and contracting arrangements with a particular focus on services for children’s statutory social care.
We are looking for a motivated individual able to pay high attention to detail, to manage all stages of the commissioning cycle including the planning, delivery, reviewing and analysis of projects.
The successful applicant will hold demonstrable experience of partnership working and interpretation of national policies, and abide by the Local Authority’s procurement rules, and be able to effectively apply these.
