Description
11 hours per week.
This post will be based at Ammanford Leisure Centre and will:
• Develop and deliver the annual swimming and dry-land training programme and competition plan in line with the overall Actif Carmarthenshire Sport & Leisure strategy
• Support the efficient flow-through and progression of swimming club participants through to the Nofio Sir Gar (NSG) High Performance squad
• Support a culture of volunteering within the club to include coaches, team managers, technical officials and committee members
You will require the following to fulfil the needs of the post
• SEQ Level 2 Coaching Swimming
• Swim Wales membership
• Knowledge and understanding of the Swim Wales dry-land framework
• Knowledge and understanding of the Athlete Development Support Pathway and ow this influences future progression of participants
• Swimming coaching experience
• Experience of providing feedback to bring about improvement
