An exciting opportunity has arisen for two committed individuals to work with the Housing Hwb Service to help clients under threat of becoming homeless. The key objective will be to prevent homelessness and to support individuals and families to secure accommodation.

You will be involved in a wide range of critical work and work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders on a local and regional basis ensuring that the team effectively communicates with relevant partners, maximises its impact and outcomes for customers and service users.  

As a Senior Housing Options Advisor, you will be responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of officers including Housing Options Advisors, Housing Hwb Advisors, and Senior Support Workers.  Representing the Service in high-level Multi-Agency meetings such as MAPPA, MARAC, domestic abuse cases, child protection, police, social care, and health case conferences.

You will need to have excellent team management skills, the ability to produce innovative solutions and be forward thinking to help develop the service, providing excellent outcomes for vulnerable clients, and high-quality customer service.

Multi-located working arrangements:  Your contractual base will be one named CCC workplace. This will be set out in your contract of employment. You will adopt a hybrid approach where your work location will vary depending on your work and service demands; for example, you may work in one, or a range of our buildings for part of your working week and work from home or other locations close to your home for the rest of your working week, enabling staff to choose where they would best work.  However, there will be regular requirements and opportunities for staff to come together to collaborate, innovate, and socialise.

You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
