We are seeking motivated and committed support workers with experience of delivering high standards in managing complex and detailed casework to join the new Housing Hwb Team and contribute towards the delivery of a high-quality housing service, where teamwork is essential. The successful candidates will have experience in a floating support setting and contribute to the development of a Housing Support Gateway for service users.  

You will be involved in a wide range of critical work and work with a wide range of partners and stakeholders on a local basis ensuring that you effectively communicate with relevant partners, including the Housing Advice Team and the Pre-Accommodation Team.  You will represent the Service in Multi-Agency meetings such as MAPPA, MARAC, domestic abuse cases, child protection, police, social care, and health case conferences.

You will have experience in completing support needs assessments, risk assessments and outcome monitoring in line with the Housing Support Grant (HSG) Guidance. 

This is a challenging role, and you will be required to have excellent communication and negotiation skills as you will be dealing with people often in emotional and stressful situations. 

Multi-located working arrangements:  Your contractual base will be one named CCC workplace. This will be set out in your contract of employment. You will adopt a hybrid approach where your work location will vary depending on your work and service demands; for example, you may work in one, or a range of our buildings for part of your working week and work from home or other locations close to your home for the rest of your working week, enabling staff to choose where they would best work.  However, there will be regular requirements and opportunities for staff to come together to collaborate, innovate, and socialise.

You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
