Description
12 hours per week
We currently have a vacancy at Caemaen Day Centre in Llanelli.
It would be an advantage if you have some experience of working with adults with a Learning Disability and/or complex health needs but more important is your values and attitudes towards people who face challenges in their lives.
Also important is a sense of fun and lots of energy and enthusiasm for supporting people in a variety of activities and community settings.
You will receive extensive training and will be expected to work as part of a team, as well as sometimes working alone.
Working patterns need to be flexible and may include occasional weekends and evenings in the future.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
