Description
We are recruiting to the post of Operational Manager, with responsibility for the effective and efficient management of the Carmarthenshire Integrated Community Equipment Service. The postholder will implement the overall strategic vision for the Service and ensure that equipment prescribed by health and social care professionals is provided to the community of Carmarthenshire.
Applicants will require extensive business management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage the Service’s contracts and budgets. The Equipment Store is a core resource in the social care infrastructure within the community and the post requires someone who can work in a demanding work environment and who can prioritise and respond to challenging and changing circumstances.
This is a joint service working across both health and social care sectors within the County and an understanding of the impact to an individual receiving the service, if there is a delay or reduced standard of service provision, is essential.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
