We currently have two vacancies available. All posts will include shift work.
We are looking for flexible, motivated individuals who will excel in working as a key part of our team to deliver an exciting new model of pro-active Technology Enabled Care (TEC) services as part of the Welsh Government’s Transformation Fund project across the West Wales Partnership Board region.
You will form part of a team responding to emergency calls and providing an appropriate and effective response to service users in their own home.
Medical experience is not required; however some practical experience in the care sector is desirable but not essential.
More important is that you have a caring and compassionate nature and act with empathy, tact and discretion.
Awareness of the issues associated with working with elderly or vulnerable people would be desirable, along with information about social care, and/or other services provided by the local authority.
Registration with Social Care Wales is desirable but not essential as full support will be given to achieve this.
Candidates should also have a good understanding of computers, be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person.
You will receive a comprehensive induction training programme when you join us and on-going training to support your development.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
