Description
We are seeking to employ Home Tutors to support education programmes and provision within the home environment for children with a range of complex, medical and behavioural needs.
The candidate will required to plan, prepare and teach appropriate and effective programmes of work for individuals receiving bespoke packages of education outside of a school setting.
The candidate will be required to implement effective systems of assessment, recording and reporting of pupil progress and will work closely with Advisory Teachers, home schools and where appropriate with Health & Social Care partners.
The candidate will need to be familiar with Person Centred Planning approaches involving close liaison with family/carers and confident to work creatively and independently.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
