We are seeking a suitably qualified and registered Social Worker (degree in Social Work, Dip Sw, CQSW) with management experience to work as part of the Community Resource Team in Llanelli, as an Assistant Team Manager of the Social Work Team.
The team works to assess and support older people, adults with physical disabilities and adults with a cognitive impairment. Applicants should have experience of working in a demanding environment across Health and Social Care with the knowledge of community and hospital settings.
Applicants should be motivated and experienced individuals who have the ability to work in partnership with a range of organisations, services and health professionals.
Applicants should be conversant with relevant legislation and statutory obligations and will need to be able to demonstrate an active commitment to the principles of promoting independence for people with disabilities.
The ability to travel within the county is essential.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
