Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people?
We are seeking a qualified & registered Social Worker (degree in social work, Dip Sw, CQSW) to join a well-established Childcare Team based in the County. We have a committed and stable workforce, so this is a rare opportunity to join a successful and progressive department. As part of our innovative approach to practice the team takes a systemic approach as well as using Signs of Safety.
Working in partnership with service users, their carers and other professionals, you will manage a caseload and practice in a person centred and outcome focussed way. Undertaking assessments, producing and reviewing care and support plans will be fundamental elements of your role. You in turn will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive environment in which there will be opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
The ability to travel within the county is essential.
A basic knowledge of Welsh is required to accomplish this post. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
