Description
32.50 hours per week – Term-Time only
We are seeking to employ a Level 3 Teaching Assistant at CSTLC Burry Port, educating secondary aged pupils who demonstrate social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The person will provide emotional wellbeing support in addressing the needs of pupils who require particular help to overcome barriers to learning.
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant the post will also involve supervising a 1:1 pupil where required alongside small groups of pupils to deliver academic support, pastoral support and guiding wellbeing programmes to pupils excluded from, or not otherwise working to, a mainstream school timetable.

The successful applicant will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council for Wales before appointment.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
