Description
Temporary post until 31/03/2024 due to grant funding.
22.20 hours per week.
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Family Support Worker to support children with disabilities and their families in a range of settings; you will be responsible for providing support for families and being responsible for running support groups.
You will be managing an agreed case load and facilitating a broad range of bespoke interventions for children with disabilities.
The support you will provide will be in accordance with the needs identified within the Joint Assessment Family Framework (JAFF) and Team around the Family (TAF) support plans.
The ideal candidate should have a knowledge of disabilities and appropriate interventions is that are required, particularly in relation to Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
