Temporary post until 31/03/2025 due to grant funding.
Carmarthenshire County Council has secured funding from the UK's Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) as part of the UK Government’s Levelling Up agenda. £38.6m has been allocated to Carmarthenshire which will enable us to deliver against some of the County’s strategic goals.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to support the Shared Prosperity Fund Manager in the effective and compliant delivery of Carmarthenshire's Shared Prosperity Fund allocation.
The successful candidate will be experienced in budget management, financial profiling and reporting, and will support the Fund Manager in ensuring that robust processes and procedures are in place so that all financial regulatory requirements of both the County Council and that of the respective external funding bodies are met.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
