Description

The award-winning Dyfed Pension Fund has vacancy for an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to join our team as a Senior Pensions Officer.

The Dyfed Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme for a number of employers, and the Police and Fire Pension Schemes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join the team, and to contribute to the future development of our work at an exciting time in the world of pensions.

We are a busy section and pride ourselves in providing the best service we can to our pension scheme members and pensioners.

Successful candidates will need to:

Have substantial experience of working in a pension environment.

Have good numerical skills with the ability to organise workloads to deal with frequently changing and conflicting priorities with minimal supervision effectively.

Be a team player who enjoys working with others. Successful candidates will also need to be good written and verbal communicators and be focused on providing excellent customer service.

We currently work on a hybrid model – 2 compulsory days in the office a week. Offices are based in St. David’s Park, Carmarthen.

Initial training will be full time office based for a minimum of 3 months. We also have flexible working hours; flexible start and finish times around ‘core working hours’ (when attendance is required) and within the limitations of the ‘bandwidth’ (the earliest and latest times between which hours can be worked) allowing you more choice.

If you have great communication skills, are numerate and thrive on being part of a busy team, then please apply by the closing date.

For an informal discussion please contact Martin Morgan on 01267 224452.

You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
