Description
We are currently seeking to recruit a business admin apprentice within our busy Electoral Services Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to assist with the work demands of the Electoral Services Team in the administration of elections. Before the end of January 2025, you will have the opportunity to help administer the Police and Crime Commissioner Election and a General election.
This is the perfect opportunity to gain administration experience and develop a career in Local Government.
About you:
We are looking for a proactive, organised individual with good attention to detail, strong communication skills and a keen interest to learn. As an apprentice in the Electoral Services Team, you will join an experienced team of professional officers who will help to support and guide you as you progress in the role, to ensure that the maximum number of residents have the right to vote and that elections are run smoothly.
You will be expected to work to tight deadlines and be willing to be flexible in your day to day working, prepared to work extended hours, including evenings and occasional weekends to assist with the busy period leading up to an election.
You will need a good level of conversational Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
