Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for motivated people with the ability to communicate effectively to join the Integrated Services Team as a Trainee Social Worker to work with older people, people experiencing cognitive decline and people with physical disabilities.
The trainee role will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to:
• Work with experienced Social Work teams to assess and support people to live as independently as possible whilst receiving work-based training and advice.
• Support to apply for and undertake the Open University Degree in Social Work
• On successfully completing the course, to then work within the team as a qualified Social Worker
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
