Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Central Referral Team which acts as first point of contact for all referrals received by Children’s Services. We are looking for an enthusiastic energetic and committed worker with excellent communication skills.
The team is an established, dedicated and skilled team who are passionate about supporting children, young people and their families. You will work alongside experienced Duty Officers and work closely with Police, Health and Education professionals and Preventative Services.
The role will require you to undertake assessment, care planning and direct interventions with families.
This is a challenging yet rewarding role and applicants must possess a social work qualification.
A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
