Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic and committed worker to lead a new team of Social Workers and Personal Advisors supporting Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of part of the team that acts as first point of contact for all referrals received by Children’s Services and will be required to have excellent communication and decision making skills.
As part of our innovative approach to practice the team takes a systemic approach as well as using Signs of Safety.
Applicants must possess a social work qualification, have extensive experience in children’s services and have held a supervisory position.

A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check will be requested for this post.
You will need a basic knowledge of Welsh. Reasonable support can be provided on appointment to reach this level.
