Key information: This position is for individuals who are qualified as a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, recognised by the International Guide Dog Federation. 

This is not a Trainee opportunity.

Starting salary: £27,472 to £30,000 per annum, + £4,105 London Weighting for London based roles

Potential salary progression: up to £38,123 + £4,105 London Weighting

We are looking for qualified Guide Dog Mobility Instructors who are interested in potentially working in any of our Mobility or Regional teams within the UK.

We are welcoming applications from individuals who may require sponsorship to work in the UK and would look to provide relocation assistance to the right international candidate.

The Guide Dog Mobility Instructors role is central to the delivery of the core guide dog service. As a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor, you will deliver specialist services as a part of a rehabilitation programme through existing or new guide dog owner partnerships. You will provide specialist assessments and a staged mobility plan, tailored to meet personal needs and expectations in relation to guide dog mobility.

Guide Dogs within the UK have sites that cover the whole of England, as well as sites in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. As a Guide Dog Mobility Instructor you would be travelling and working within the area your role covers, and so would get to explore and experience working in many different locations.
