This is a fantastic opportunity to join The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as an Insight and Customer Research Manager. This role can be based either at our offices in Thanet Street in London or at our Central Office in Burghfield Common, near Reading.
The Insight and Customer Research Manager helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by using research to better understand the needs of people living with sight loss.
Within this role you will have full ownership of the research commissioning process, taking responsibility for creating a customer segmentation model to provide a deep understanding of our customers’ perceptions and beliefs about Guide Dogs.
Through pro-actively using data, you will provide insight and strategic recommendations to drive the development and delivery of person-centred services and help direct all our marketing activities.
Who we’re looking for
You will be a strategic thinker with experience in a similar customer insight and research role within an agency setting. Alongside this you will have:
• Demonstrable experience of conducting/commissioning qualitative research, quantitative research and customer insights analysis taking ownership of the full process.
• Demonstratable experience of working with brand metrics and developing associated KPIs.
• Demonstratable experience of communicating market and insight outputs and complex data/concepts to a wide range of audiences (technical and non-technical).
• Proven ability to form positive relationships with external agencies, partner organisations and internal collaborators.
• Proven ability of working to strict deadlines and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Proven experience of pro-actively using data to make actionable outcomes.
• Proven experience of using Excel for quant data manipulation.

This role is 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 26 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) a year. As a charity, we’re always keen to support flexible working as best we can.
