Salary: Up to £52,500 per annum pro rata + benefits
Contract Type: 3 month Fixed Term Contract (October – December 2020)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: Ideally 05/10/2020
This is a fantastic opportunity to join The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association as Planning & Reporting Accountant to support the whole organisation and their centralised Business & Finance Services based from Burghfield Common, near Reading.
The role
The Planning & Reporting Accountant helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by being responsible for the definition, preparation and presentation of all financial and performance data relating to the budget, forecasts and monthly management accounts.
As a Planning & Reporting Accountant you will build, maintain and develop models including the cost to serve model as well as developing ad hoc management insight in accordance with the strategic and managerial needs of Guide Dogs.
Who we’re looking for
You will be an ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified finance professional with significant experience in Management Accounting with the ability to work in an environment of change and to tight deadlines. Alongside this, experience of modelling, data manipulation and reporting is required. Knowledge of Agresso financial reporting is desirable for this role.

Benefits
This role is 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 26 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) a year pro rata. A flexible approach to working hours maybe required in line with organisational needs. As a charity, we’re always keen to support flexible working as best we can.
