Salary: £27,472 - £29,091 per annum

The role
The Finance & Governance Assistant helps people with sight loss to live the life they choose by providing proactive, efficient and confidential support to the CFO and Company Secretary on the Board of Trustee sub-committees, to enable them to operate efficiently and effectively.
Who we’re looking for
You will have previous experience working within a similar role and possess a ‘can-do’ attitude. You will be financially literate, and confident in extracting information from financial reports and be adept at using Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint) to create and format accessible documents.
The ability to work as part of a team across all levels of seniority and with external advisors andmaintain confidentiality is also essential for this role.

This role is 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with 26 days paid holiday (excluding bank holidays) a year. As a charity, we’re always keen to support flexible working as best we can.
