Hartlepool
is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want
to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and
committed staff to help us achieve that.
Are you passionate about making a difference? This is a really exciting time for Hartlepool substance misuse services. We have recently created an integrated substance misuse service which includes our clinical service provided by an external partner and our ‘in-house’ care co-ordination service. If you are successful you will be supporting the Head of Service in both developing and leading this newly formed service at the beginning of its journey, in order to ensure that we can improve the lives of people in Hartlepool.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the operational activity across the service and have experience of managing a complex, busy service. The role will also include delivering supervision, maintaining and developing relationships with partner agencies and providing clear leadership in order to ensure we are providing an effective service which not only supports and motivates service users along a recovery pathway, but which delivers positive outcomes for individuals, families and communities. This post has specific lead responsibilities for the criminal justice work carried out within the service.
You will be part of a hardworking, enthusiastic, committed
and supportive team. We are committed to
providing high quality services and offer an excellent working environment
valuing supervision, training and opportunities for professional
development. Applicants should have experience of providing a range of
recovery-oriented and evidence-based interventions to substance misusers in a
community-based setting, possess an NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care or
equivalent and have experience of providing consistent and structured line
management supervision to practitioners within a health and/or social care setting.
