Description
In this prestigious Corporate
Security Supervisor role, you will be ensuring the security and safety of
premises and people at a high-profile offices for a major name in the
motorsport industry.
An experienced Security Supervisor,
with exceptional customer-focused skills, you will carry out a range of duties
including:
• Manage the security team.
• Undertake
performance management reviews with the security team.
• Attend
and manage disciplinaries of the team where relevant.
• Manage
all functions within the gatehouse and barriers.
• Ensure
that rosters are in place and effectively supported to provide cover at all
times.
• Uphold
the standards of the customer at all times.
• Manage
the health and safety of the officers and assess risks as required.
• Conducting
drills to check that systems and procedures are robust and effective and
reporting any changes or improvements to the manager.
• Assisting
the manager in developing and maintaining effective working instructions.
• Conducting
weekly tests on equipment.
• Undertaking
staff appraisals and coaching where required.
• Delivering
refresher training across the team.
• Assessing
the requirements for uniforms and workwear ensuring that adequate supplies are available.
• Communicating
and implementing changes to working patterns.
• Training
new staff and ensuring a program of continuous refresher training in delivered.
• Ensuring
that all officers complete relevant health and safety assessments.
• Ensuing
that officers are aware of and adhere to the suppliers and customers policies
and procedures.
• Ensuring
that officers are wearing approved uniform and dressed appropriately and
smartly in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Ensuring
that all shifts. Duties and tasks are carried out effectively and in accordance
with the assignment instructions.
• Conducting
contractor safety inductions.
• Assisting
as required in the event of emergency incidents
• Conducting
initial investigations into incidents and compiling reports.
• Seeking
improvement opportunities and suggesting new ideas.
• Preparing
reports as required by the manager.
• Assisting
with annual performance reviews.
• Attending
meetings required.
This role is a Mon- Fri role, based
on 8 hour shifts. As part of a small team you will need to be
flexible to support your colleagues.
This position requires dedicated
security professionals who are able to maintain high standards of customer
service, discipline and presentation, and to succeed you will also need:
• SIA Door Supervision
(DS) or Security Officer (SG) licenses - essential
• A pro-active approach
to security
• Ability to work in a
team that performs to high standards.
• Strong customer service
skills and experience
• Excellent
communication, organisation and interpersonal skills
• The ability to remain
calm and professional under pressure
• Experience in a
customer-facing role, ideally in security
• Good IT and
administration skills
• Experience in HR/ER cases
(preferred)
• Five years’ checkable
history and references
• To pass a criminal
records check (CRC) to the required standards.
ICTS will offer to the successful
candidates a competitive rate of £12.85, with an increase to £13.37 per hour
after a three month trial period and approval by the client; with further pay
reviews planned annually.
