The North Wales Adoption Service (NWAS) is a regional service undertaking the recruitment, training, assessment and support of adopters and family finding for Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire, Gwynedd, Wrexham and Anglesey.
The Team Manager will lead and motivate a small staff team that will be responsible for the delivery of highly effective adoption services in line with relevant legislation, regulation, guidance and good practice frameworks in Gwynedd and Anglesey.
The post holders will have:
Experience of working in the field of adoption
Excellent communication skills
Line management experience
An ability to work independently
Experience of Court Processes
Ability to speak Welsh
Experience of performance management
Ability to manage effectively within the budget framework for delivering the service
Ability to travel across North Wales
