G09 - £30,451 - £32,910 

The applicant will have some experience in working with children and in safeguarding however training and mentoring will be provided. Applicants without this experience will still be considered for interview and employment. Newly qualified Social workers are encouraged to apply.

The applicant will have a solutions focussed approach placing the child at the heart of any intervention that they undertake. Skills and qualities required include effective communication skills, empathetic attitude, being open and honest, reliable and committed and motivated to provide a high standard of service to the children and families that are receiving a service. The applicant will be able to work well as part of a team and equally be able to work well independently.

There are opportunities for progression with the team and a wide variety of training and development opportunities available to support career progression. Wrexham is making positive progress on their improvement Journey and the support and development of staff is key to the success of this.
