Wrexham Registration Service is looking to expand its team of Casual Ceremony Officers to perform wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.

Successful applicants will undertake the registration and conducting of ceremonies at licensed venues across the County Borough.  Training and support will be given to ensure that they have the skills and confidence to be able to officiate at ceremonies, as well as delivering excellent customer service at all times.  

Successful applicants will be expected tocover mainly weekends and bank holidays, as well as weekday ceremonies, as and when required, during busy months.  You may also be required to cover at short notice.

Successful applicants will have excellent attention to detail in order to accurately record information, have excellent time management skills and be articulate.  Clear handwriting and some experience of working directly with the general public is also desirable.

In addition to providing a quality service in relation to the legal registration of marriage and civil partnerships, the successful applicants may be required to conduct celebratory services, such as naming ceremonies and renewal of vows ceremonies.
