 G11 £37,890 - £40,876

Dealing primarily with child care work and advising the Social Care Department in relation to all legal requirements safeguarding children under the relevant legislation. A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx Lawyer (with litigation advocacy rights) you will have experience of advocacy in the courts and preferably a background in Public Law (although a strong background in law and willingness to retrain will be considered). You will be able to provide robust and risk-assessed advice and expect a varied and challenging caseload. You will need to be adaptable and flexible and prepared to react to difficult and pressurised situations. The ability to multi-task and work collaboratively as a team is essential.
