varied environment, including one of the largest industrial estates in Europe,
a large a vibrant town, fantastic landscapes, including part of the Clwydian
Range & Dee Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty as well as important
areas of historic importance such as the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct World Heritage
Site.
We are seeking
to appoint 2 x Planning Assistant to join our busy Planning team. You will be joining a friendly and welcoming
team who will work together to deliver the best planning outcomes for our
customers. The role will offer you the
opportunity of gaining experience of dealing with a varied Planning caseload
and developing your Planning knowledge.
To be
considered for the role you must have a recognised qualification in Planning or
a related subject. Membership of the
RTPI is desirable and whilst previous Planning experience would be
advantageous, this post will also suitable for new graduates or those at the
very start of their planning careers.
You will be
expected to demonstrate your ability to use judgment and initiative, to work as
part of a team is essentially to problem solve and to effectively manage your
caseload. Excellent written and verbal
communication skills are essential.
This role
allows for a combination of home and office working. You will also be required
to undertake site visits. Attendance at
team-meetings would normally be expected to be in person. Whilst significant
use is made of Zoom and Microsoft Teams, there will also be a requirement to
attend in-person meetings. In addition, we also offer flexible working
arrangements to support you in achieving a positive home/ work balance.
