An exciting
opportunity has arisen to join the newly formed Community Wellbeing Team based
in Crown Buildings, Wrexham town centre.
The team
specialise in supporting citizens suffering with mild to moderate mental health
needs, and for those diagnosed with severe and enduring mental health needs
where social factors are affecting their everyday life. The team work in close
collaboration with the individual and their carers/family and in partnership
with colleagues in both statutory and third sector agencies across the Wrexham
Borough.
Experience of working within a mental
health service is desirable but not essential for G09 posts, as the successful
candidate will be part of an experienced and supportive team.
Relevant experience of working with
individuals with mental health needs is essential for G10 posts as it will be
expected that the successful candidate holds a more complex case load.
There will be
training and development opportunities provided within the team and through the
Wrexham workforce development programme.
The successful
candidate will carry a caseload and will undertake duty on a rota basis. There
will be an expectation that they will work independently within a supportive
framework and protective environment.
