Teacher – To support, Looked after Children

Scale - MPS/UPS (STPCD)

An opportunity has arisen to join the Education and Inclusion Service to support children and young people who are looked after.  You will work closely with a wide range of agencies including: schools, children’s services, ALN and the WRAP team to ensure children access education and support they are entitled to and need.

You will be an experienced teacher with an interest/qualification in trauma informed practice and a desire to ensure vulnerable children and young adults are nurtured and supported to achieve their true potential.

Part time secondment will be considered. Candidates must have authorisation from their Head Teacher prior to applying.
