We are looking for an experienced, highly skilled individual to support vulnerable pupils and families in our wonderful school.

Alexandra is a very busy, complex school with 13 mainstream classes and 5 specialist Resourced Provisions. We have just under 400 children and over 90 staff.

The person appointed will focus their work on preventative and early intervention activities, assist in tackling poor attendance, wellbeing concerns or underachievement. By working closely with families, parents, carers and children in school, we hope to enable all children to have full access to educational opportunities and help them to overcome barriers to learning. It will involve taking an active role alongside local community groups and projects to help families receive the support they need. The postholder will liaise with external agencies as well as school staff.
