LEVEL 3 TEACHING ASSISTANT

28.75 Hours per week

 Temporary initially until 30th March 2024

(Term-time only with no term-time leave)

Salary Grade G05  £14,273 -£14,799 Per  Annum

The Governing Body seeks to appoint a suitably experienced and qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide pupil support within the Foundation Phase, under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff in the school.

Desirable qualities:

•    Experience of supporting pupils in improving standards in Literacy and Numeracy.

  Ability to communicate effectively with pupils and colleagues and work as part of a team.

 Demonstrate an adaptable and flexible approach.

 Ability to support pupils within the classroom setting and to fully embrace the expectations of school life.

 Some experience with a range of interventions such as RWInc, Makaton, Safmeds etc. would be useful.
