Assistant Team Manager – Disability Team
Permanent
37 hours – G11 £40,478 - £43,516
The All Age Disability Team are offering an exciting
development opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager to join an established
and supportive management team. The successful candidate will contribute to the
team’s multi-agency approach, providing a seamless health, social care and
well-being service for individuals with disabilities of all ages and their
families.
The Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act (2014),
Children’s Act 1989 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 provide legislative frameworks
to ensure the team comply with statutory duties and that individuals are
supported to achieve positive outcomes at all stages of their lives.
To be the right person for this role, you will have
excellent communication and organisational skills; proven experience of working
as part of a team; ability to ensure services are of a high standard;
experience of supervising social care staff; as well as managing competing
demands. The team have a robust duty system in place, which a manager oversees
daily.
You will have experience of working with Children and/or
Adults or within both areas including working with children and / or vulnerable
adults and the ability to respond appropriately to the needs and outcomes of
disabled children and adults whilst working within statutory guidelines,
policies and standards.
