G07 £26,845 - £28,371 per annum

Temporary until 31/03/24

Potential extension of contract beyond this date subject to funding

37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and successful team that forms part of the Welsh Government’s flagship programme to address long term unemployment in Wales that targets those from disadvantaged or excluded backgrounds with complex barriers to employment.

The Communities for Work Plus team is based in community venues in Caia Park and Plas Madoc and works across the County Borough. 

The Community Employment Mentor will provide intensive one to one mentoring to participants to help them identify and take practical steps to overcome barriers preventing them taking up identified training and employment.

You should have experience of providing intensive; employment focused mentoring to a caseload of participants who are experiencing poverty and barriers to employment.
