Are you passionate about making a difference for children, young people and families?

This post is to lead the Quality and Review Service, including holding the role of Principal Social Worker for Children. You will be responsible for the Independent Reviewing Service,
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS), Safeguarding supervision and support for our 0-19 children's health service, Complaints and Quality Assurance as well as Workforce Development across Children and Joint Commissioning and Adults and Community Based Services.

You will have outcomes for children at the heart of everything you do and be committed to partnership working with families and other agencies. You will be a dedicated and driven leader with significant post-qualifying and management experience in children’s social care including supervision of social workers working with children in need of protection and children in care. You will be organised and be a good communicator with the skills to lead high quality services for children and young people.

 

You will provide oversight, leadership and assurance, driving aspirational practice and continuous improvement across the system. You will have the ability and confidence to influence practice and to effectively scrutinise and challenge practice where needed.
