Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that. Supporting a busy specialist team within Adult Social Care, you will carry out clerical duties including processing invoices for payment, maintenance of records and assisting with an estates management service including meeting service users within the Civic Centre reception; the issuing of money vouchers to cashiers; supporting team members with Protection of Properties / Boarding of Pets. 

You will be able to demonstrate effective organisational skills and a flexible approach to meeting workload pressures and deadlines. You must have NVQ 3 in Business Administration (or demonstrate equivalent skills) and be proficient in the use of Word & Excel. You will be required to deal with telephone enquiries from other professionals and members of the public; therefore it is essential that you have an ability to communicate effectively. 

You must have recent relevant experience of working within an administrative setting. The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check plus barring list Adults check.
