Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated
school nurse applicants must hold or be currently studying to gain a specialist
community public health nurse (SCPHN) qualification in School Nursing.
As a SCPHN school nurse you will lead and develop a family centered public
health approach, working with individuals, families and communities to improve
health and tackle inequalities.
You will be committed to deliver evidence based practice, maintaining current
knowledge of local and national issues that impact on the school age
population. As a specialist practitioner you will be required to professionally
contribute to the on-going development of the School Nursing service.
As part of the benefits package the Council will be able to offer NHS clinical
nurses recruited to this post access to Council long service leave entitlements
and Council occupational sickness payment scheme, where they have the relevant
continuous service.
