Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that.

Hartlepool Community Safety Team is seeking to recruit an experienced member of staff to join its dedicated and professional team to fill a vacancy that has arisen.

The successful applicant will work as a member of Hartlepool's Anti-social Behaviour Unit which is part of the wider Hartlepool Community Safety Team.

Hartlepool Community Safety Team brings together community safety staff from Hartlepool Borough Council, Cleveland Police, Cleveland Fire Brigade, and Cleveland Victim Care and Advice Service who are all co-located at Hartlepool Police Station, Avenue Road, Hartlepool.

As an Anti-social Behaviour Officer the successful applicant will work both independently and with partners to share information and to provide a proactive and problem solving approach to tackling anti-social behaviour, hate, tenancy, and community safety related issues, including where appropriate, taking enforcement action.

Due to the necessity to pick up an existing caseload applicants will need to be able to demonstrate recent experience of similar work. The post will involve some working outside of normal office hours for which time off in lieu will be granted. The post-holder will therefore, be expected to be flexible in their approach.

Please note this is  a re-advertisement and previous applicants need not apply.

For further information please contact Nicholas Stone, Neighbourhood Safety Team Leader on 01429 523100.

Closing date: Sunday 18th September 2022, midnight
