Hartlepool Borough Council’s Learning & Skills Service is part of the Community Hubs Team and is a high performing provider who was awarded a ‘Good with Excellent Features’ by Ofsted in November 2017.

The Service will be delivering a new offer called Learning for Inclusion. This is focused on engaging adults through non-accredited activities and addressing some of the key priorities for communities across Hartlepool.

We are seeking to appoint friendly, enthusiastic and qualified Tutors to join our team. You will be required to engage adults within communities and then raise their aspirations to enthuse and motivate them so that we can make a positive impact through Learning for Inclusion.

Candidates will need to be flexible as the days and times of delivery will be set to meet the needs of the Community. The opportunities are endless for the types of non-accredited provision which can be offered and some examples are shown below:

·       Sewing

·       Music, Video Production and Dance

·       Creative Arts

·       Social Action

·       Wellbeing

·       Digital Inclusion including Coding

·       Gardening and Horticulture

·       Cooking

·       Woodwork

If you feelthat you can deliver something that makes a difference to communities within Hartlepool then we would love for you to be part of the Community Hubs Team.
