Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated
health visitor, applicants must hold or be due to qualify with a specialist
community public health nurse (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting.
As a SCPHN health visitor you will lead and develop a family centered public
health approach, working with individuals, families and communities to improve
health and tackle inequalities.
You will be committed to deliver evidence based practice, maintaining current
knowledge of local and national issues that impact the 0-5 population. As a
specialist practitioner you will be required to professionally contribute to
the on-going development of the health visiting offer within the Early Help
Locality Teams.
As part of the benefits package the Council will be able to offer NHS clinical
nurses recruited to this post access to Council long service leave entitlements
and Council occupational sickness payment scheme, where they have the relevant
continuous service.
NHS pension can be continued.
