Hartlepool Borough Councils Community Hubs have gone through an exciting period of change and we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to help us drive forward our next chapter and ensure we meet the needs of the local community.
Working across all of our Hubs, the successful applicant will support the Outreach and Engagement team to deliver our range of activities to adults and families, whilst developing and delivering new activities to enhance the existing offer. Working closely with the Jobs & Skills @ The Hubs team, the post holder will deliver workshops and projects with adults and families through Learning for Inclusion which will provide pathway opportunities into training and employment. They will also support the CommunityDevelopment Worker function for the Multiply Programme which aims to improve adult numeracy and is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The post holder will develop good relationships and engage with service users, local groups, agencies and partners (including within the voluntary and community sector) to develop an inclusive offer which meets the needs of our community.
The successful applicant will be part of an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated team, working with the existing outreach team to support the delivery of existing programmes and collaborating with other Hub teams, including the library and Fab Lab, to deliver an excellent offer across the Community Hubs.
