This is an exciting time to be working for Hartlepool Borough Council given the development and transformation that the Town is currently undergoing.
We are seeking a technician to join our multi-disciplinary consultancy team comprised of architectural technicians, building surveyors, landscape architects, mechanical and electrical engineers and quantity surveyors. This is a key role in supporting the delivery and project management of Capital and Revenue projects and assisting in developing the in-house construction service delivery.
As this is a Development Scheme applicants may have a variety of qualifications from HNC/HND to degree level or equivalent, in a relevant architectural discipline. Applicants enrolled on courses but yet to complete them will also be considered. They should ideally have recent experience in dealing with the design and construction of building projects.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate AutoCAD skills and have a good working knowledge of relevant construction regulations and project management processes.
The Section is committed to providing a client focused service, delivering projects on programme and to budget. Applicants must have the appropriate skills to contribute to the achievement of these aims.
