Hartlepool Borough Council are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Project and Engagement Officer to support the work of the Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSSCP).
HSSCP is a multi-agency partnership whose aim is to “ensure that every child in Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees feels safe, secure and is protected from harm; enabling them to reach their full potential”. The Project and Engagement Officer will play an integral part in the partnership by leading on and implementing key aspects of the partnership’s work plan; providing a clear sense of direction, optimism and purpose across the multi-agency workforce.
Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that. - Ensure that the partnership priorities, work streams and business plan are project managed and regularly reviewed against the measures of success.
- · Be part of the team who excite and encourage partners to learn from and change practice.
- · Champion and drive the partnership’s priorities and agenda; communicating and engaging with multi-agency professionals, partner agencies, children and young people and the public in relation to the work of the partnership.
The successful applicant will be expected to promote team working within their service area, across council departments, with colleagues from external agencies including the statutory, community and voluntary, and business sectors and with elected members. Due to the sensitive and confidential nature of the work, the successful applicant will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring check. The successful candidate will be fully supported to develop in the role as required.
This is a two-year fixed-term post. The post is subject to hybrid working, with the successful candidate being based 2 days per week at CETL, Hartlepool, and three days based at home.
