Band 4 £23,114.00 pa
Fixed 1 year contract (August 2024 – July 2025, final dates to be confirmed)
37 hours per week

The Planning and Development Section has established a strong positive reputation for quality of service, in providing a pro-active approach designed to facilitate and promote high quality development and are keen to retain their good working relationship with Newcastle University.
We are seeking a graduate planner to play an active role in the continued development of the service, predominantly working within the Development Management team of the Planning and Development Service. To be successful, you will need excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure and on your own initiative.
This post is aimed at graduates participating in the Town Planning Placement Year (MPlan/Diploma) prior to recommencing with their studies. It is expected that the successful candidate will commence employment in August 2023.
