Hartlepool is a vibrant and energetic town with growing prospects. As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that. We have major regeneration plans, possess a highly regarded Town Centre Masterplan, have secured £43.5m of capital funding to deliver exciting approved Town Deal and Levelling Up plans and are creating a ‘new Heart for Hartlepool’ through a programme of large scale capital projects.

We are looking for a self-motivated, driven, and articulate individual who has experience and a proven track record of large scale capital project management and delivery, long term strategy development and delivery of wider sustainability projects. You will be joining an ambitious and creative team alongside programme management, data & intelligence, Net Zero and administration officers, and get to manage some nationally regarded project delivery that is putting the town on the map.

You will be a major part of the delivery of the Council’s Capital Programme, will be responsible for large capital budgets, overseeing strong governance, project manage across a range of departments and will work collaboratively with internal and external colleagues to develop strategic plans to realise the Council’s ambitions for regeneration and addressing the impacts of Climate Change.

As part of this you will work collaboratively with external partners, and internal project managers, service leads and other departments to project manage large investments in our town and have a detailed knowledge of how the regeneration and sustainability sectors operate with the ability to develop and sustain good working relationships.
