As an authority we want to make Hartlepool the best it possibly can be and want dedicated, driven and committed staff to help us achieve that. We have major regeneration plans and have secured large scale capital funding to deliver exciting approved Masterplans.
As a key member of the Strategic Development Team within the Development and Growth directorate of the Council, this post will work collaboratively with the Preventative and Community Based Services department to manage, administer and deliver a new and exciting £20m Long Term Plan for Towns programme. The programme will engage wide ranging communities in the town and help develop much need infrastructure support for the voluntary and community sector, to enable communities and organisations to play a more active role in regeneration.
The post holder will support the independent Town Board, manage the financial resources of the programme, undertake programme and project management functions and undertake monitoring, evaluation and reporting to range of audiences, including funders.
The post will be responsible for establishing projects and programmes which meet the strategic aims of the funding and the town, in areas including but not limited to development support for projects, financial management, programme management and reporting.
The post holder will work directly with the Strategic Development and Sustainability Manager and the Assistant Director for Preventative and Community Based Services.
